Batumi Referral Hospital is “Evex Medical Corporation’s” main hospital of Adjara region, which offers complete multiprofile medical services to the population of the region. The hospital functions as referral center for Khulo, Keda and Shuakhevi hospitals.

The hospital serves up to 1000 inpatients and more than 3000 ambulatory patients monthly. Very complicated surgeries are performed at the hospital, such as surgery on gallbladder and liver, including liver transplantation. Diagnostic services and all other medical services are available during 24 hours, as well as Emergency Department (ER), which is the only licensed ER in Adjara region.

The Emergency Department helps to deliver timely and targeted medical services while management of patients in critical condition. For the first time in Georgia in Batumi Referral Hospital group of Georgian and foreign doctors have successfully introduced services of liver transplantation, which cover needs of population of whole Georgia as well as Transcaucasia.
