Located in the heart of the city of San Donato Milanese, the IRCCS Policlinico San Donato is a clinical and university research Center accredited by the Italian National Health Service (SSN), home of the Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery, in collaboration with the Università degli Studi di Milano.

Founded in 1969 and extending over 50,000 square meters in the south-eastern part of Milan, the multi-specialty healthcare institution is one of the most renowned cardiovascular Centers of excellence in the Italian landscape today, winning first place as a facility that has provided the largest number of cardiac surgeries in Italy (over 1500 per year).

By putting the well-being and care of the patient and the citizen at the core of its philosophy, and because of its unique and enviable know-how, the Policlinico San Donato continues to carry out its mission, guaranteeing its patient the highest level of competence and excellence.
