Bellevue Clinic, built more than a hundred and fifty years ago on the ruins of a "madness" frequented by the Marquise de Pompadour, in the vast grounds of its Château de Meudon, was the summer residence of a wealthy Parisian under the Second Empire, before becoming, around 1860, one of the first "House of Health for Nervous Diseases", where stayed illustrious patients such as Edouard MANET, Jules HETZEL, Adele HUGO.
